the memo

Dear Successful

Bethany Frankel....

Most women just crumble when their lives fall apart, but this woman knows how to roar.

With a great sense of humor, she opened up her life and taught others that no matter what your circustances you can always make life better if you work hard and want enough for yourself.

So as a homemaker with a million problems, I sat and was in awe by her because she made her success without excuses. Even though people tried to bring her down, this lion roared and said this was mine. I worked hard for this, and you are not going to take this away from me. From being chef , successful author, and a show with great rating, she has done with most people would dream of doing.

With a great pair of heels...

So as you look at your life, no excuses. Roar. This is mine.

have a great and productive week.

mailing list
i think a mailing list should be specfic to what you are doing at the time. Random names rarely work.
So if you a tutoring company, don't throw a flyer at everyone. You should go to teachers, principals, and local daycares.

Make sure what you are sending is a little bit more unique.

the memo

Dear Successful

John D. Rockefeller

His company was so huge that it caught the government's attention. He was the ultimate lion, devouring the competition and making sure that his success was the last thing standing.

In the business world, it is a jungle. It is a war. You have to go out there as if you are the general with a stragedy to the be the very best of your field by learning each day what is is that you offer. He took the basic building blocks of business and created an empire that still stands today.

Many people young and old, look at the success with awe, trying to figure how to reach it.  Really, he was just a hard worker with sensible ideas.

Be the very best.

Have a great and productive week.

the memo

Dear Successful

Raised by two strong women who worked hard each day, they created a lion.

He did everything on the journey to his success from throwing newspapers, working burgers, and even scrubbing toilets. He created a van service, was a party promoter, and a young executive.

His name is Sean Combs.

When the world of hip hop said, he was not urban enough, you don't have a place here. He created one for himself. Through his words of wisdom, he gave others an oppportunity to have their own place.

He has created an empire which has influence the entertainment and business world. Many people in both sectors have been inspired by him to create their own empire. He has roared from music to film.
As far marketing, he is a beast at what he does. He has always allowed God to make a way out of no way for him.

He is one the strongest lions in the jungle. I learned how to roar from him. When I sit back later in life with my success, I know I owe him.

what is your favorite car, sean?

have a great and productive week

the memo

Dear Successful

Impossible. As you enter into the lion's den of business, this is a word you will often hear if you want more than average. Your skills are not great, your race works against you, and sometimes even the sex. Then if you add in a big dose of recession, in the eyes of many, your dreams of success should be the reality of failure.  The world tells you that you should allow your dream to just sit on the shelf.
When I think of the word possible, Oprah Winfrey comes to mind.
In the world of reality, she should not be a success. Dipped in ebony in female form, she was born into failure especially when very few African Americans had tasted the success the Creator would have for her.
Through hard work and faith, she endured the negative, the lies, the betrayal. She shattered the glass ceiling in her industry without even a master degree or the family connections. Over time, Oprah created something out of nothing. With encouragement and sincere heart, she inspired many to become everything that the Creator had for them, no matter the race or sex.
I am very sure she stayed up many nights with tears in her eyes discouraged on how she would make her impossible dream possible.
As you sit and plan out your impossible dream, consider this woman dipped in ebony.
The impossible is indeed possible if you know how to roar.

Have a great and productive week.

the memo

Dear Successful

Success comes to those that can roar.

In the 1980s when more women entered into the business world. One woman stood out.

Her name is Martha Stewart.

When I was in early 20s, I watched her show, and she gave me hope that life could more beautiful.  Even though if  you did not have means, it was not an excuse.  You could create something great out of the most simple things.

From a little girl, she created parties. Then entered into the business world.  As a married woman, she took a house and created an empire.

Many do say she is a lion. I love that about her.  She taught me how to roar.

So no excuses, just do it. Take your skills and create something great.

Have a great and productive week.
