Maggie Walker
Maggie came from former slaves who worked very hard in order to improve the lives of many.
She founded a financial institution before the twenties were roaring and black was proud. Through hard work lessons from her mothers, she created a place for herself in history. Even though she many obstacles in the south, she jumped the hurdles.
